INTERNATIONAL PUREBRED DAY

Happy Purebred Day everybody. As some of you might have ready, I recently lost my puppy boy, Karma.

Much to everyone’s surprise, Karma was a purebred fur baby. He was a Petite Basset Griffon Vendeen or otherwise simply known as a PBGV. They are also known as the “Happy Breed” because of their waggy tail and that they always look like they are smiling. However, thankfully they are so cute because it makes up for their lack of intelligence. I can not tell you just how many hours I sat laughing at stupid silly things that Karma did. I just simply lost count.

But Karma also had an older Golden Retriever Brother called Caspar. Caspar was also known affectionately as “Goofy”. He was always a mummy’s boy. Always trying to climb up on to her lap and definitely didn’t like being separated from him mummy. But Caspar was a little bit of a pretty boy and was never shy in front of a camera. He couldn’t help to show off. Caspar loved to be 14 1/2 years old.

Now, Karma did have another older Beagle brother called Pablo. Pablo was as smart and as clever as you can get. He was the great escape artist. Always finding the most outrageous and bizarre ways to escape the yard until Caspar came along.

We have been lucky and blessed with the dogs that we have had. They all have had their own unique personality but all have left their mark on my heart forever.

I would love to hear what purebreds you have or even what is you favourite purebred is .

Thank you

The Man In the Pink Hat
