The Great Apartment Hunt #8, #9 and #10

Monday 29th of July, 2019

Today saw action on the apartment hunting front. My two real estate agents started to send me more photos for some apartments.

Apartment #8

This apartment is a very nice apartment however it’s major drawback for me was the second bedroom was a small book room that had a tiny fold out sofa instead of a bed. This really didn’t work for me. I did ask about if a bed would fit in there but the response was a no. The other thing which put me off was the landlord and the real estate agent wanted me to make a decision on the spot, right there and then, if I was going to take the apartment without checking the place in person. So with those two issues for me, I replied with a no to the apartment which was a shame as it looked like a nice place.

Apartment #9

Apartment 9 didn’t appeal to me at all as it didn’t have that warm home feeling or look to it. Furthermore I couldn’t see the bathroom area and the bright kitchen and the kitchen floor made me dizzy. I am definitely not a fan of the 1960s disco diner look in a small apartment. So I quickly said no to it.

Apartment #10

Apartment #10 was the first apartment that I felt close to what I am looking for. It is on the 7th floor in a compound and has a very interesting warm lounge area. Great for those cold winter days. However I am a little confused by the bedrooms. The photos send to me seems to show three bedrooms. However the real estate agent says it only has two bedrooms. So I am waiting for some clarification on the photos. But I do like this place and I have told the real estate agent that I would like to view this apartment.
