The day that I have been dreading and looking forward to at the same time has finally arrived. I was trying to stretch out every possible second that I could before leaving my beautiful one but sadly with tears in my eyes and one last hug, we waved each other off before going through customs.

The flight itself was pretty uneventful. I kept myself entertained a Chinese card game called Fight the Landlord as well as by watching some shows like The Wedding Singer, Boheman Rhopesdy and Last Chance U.
There was two meals served on the flight. first was chicken noodles and second was pork with rice. Both were surprisingly good. I was also able to get about an hour nap in as well.

When the plane came into land, the plane was descended through the thick grey clouds only to pop out at the last moment before touching softly on to the ground. It happened so fast that my first glimpses of Shanghai was the unimpressive flat dark green fields that surrounded the airport.
I was greeted by a taxi driver and the HR person from work at the airport and proceeded to go through the plan for the next day while on the way to the hotel. Once there and i was settled, we departed ways for the night.
